Case Study #5 is a large national demolition contractor
AWMS was asked to provide transportation and disposal services, both hazardous and non-hazardous, for this demolition contractor who was working for an international petroleum corporation.
• AWMS transported and disposed of 7829 tons of RCRA Haz waste, 782 loads
• AWMS performed Transportation only for non-haz landfill of 8621 tons, 460 loads
• AWMS utilized eight separate trucking companies
• Scheduling required rolloff loads delivered by 10:00 am and dump trucks delivered by 9:00 pm in 20-minute increments because of the facility’s mix tank.
• This project took place in the fourth quarter and the first quarter. Therefore, the weather played a significant role in scheduling
• Project had zero incidents or loads
• AWMS managed all aspects of this project including scheduling, site and transporter approval, manifesting, and billing with back-up documentation
