Hazardous Materials Registration
Under federal hazardous material transportation law (49 U.S.C. 5101 et seq.), anyone offering or transporting certain types or quantities of hazardous materials—including hazardous waste—must register with the U.S. Department of Transportation and pay an annual fee.
